Here are the surnames of people connected with Russia. Some are prezent on our site, some are with genealogical information, some with contact information of their reprezentatives. Everything is in Russian. I won't translate it for you - it is a very big site and webmastering it takes a lot of time, but you can try any autotranslating service or find a person who knows Russian..
You can post your search message on the messageboard. I understand that it is difficult for a person who don't know Russian (there is a Russian interface there), but you can try.
When you get there, you can push the left red-brown square button:
In the upper line you are to write the head of your message. On the third line you are to write your name, or you can leave the word Guest there. Write nothing on the fourth line. And write you message in the lowest square. The message will be posted when you'll push the left lower square gray button on which it is written something like OTIIPABNTL. Don't forget to write your contact information, so that people could answer you somehow. Or you can remember the address of your message (when it appears) and vizit it to look if somebody answered.
If you wont'manage, we can post your message on this page or on the messageboard. It's free. Write Stas at mr.ghost@mail.ru and he'll post it, maybe not immediately.

Hello from Oregon: I'm looking for our Russian/Armenian family that left Chita, Russia, Siberia/Cyberia, prior to 1910. Their names were: Ephim/Ephriam/Efim Nickolaeff, Nocoloff, or Nikaleff, (AKA Nick Mickloff ), b. abt. 1883-1893, who was md. to Aksenia, Oksenia, Krysania, Xenia, or Vera (Saturian) or (Santurian) or Khatchaturian), (b. abt. Dec. 25, 1885-1895. I don't if they had any brothers or sisters, or what their parents names were. I don't know when or who  they traveled with from Russia to America. The story goes that they worked at various labor jobs, in fields, plantations, lumber yards,  and railroads, in China, Japan, and the Hawaiian Islands. They had a son, born August, 1910 on one of the Hawaiian Islands, named Alex/Alek/Allen/ or Alekandr Nicolaeff (or other spelling).  Between August, 1910-December 1910, they arrived in California, possibly in San Francisco. By December 1912 they had another son named Wladimer or Vladimer (Walter), born in California. They lived in Aberdeen and Cosmopolis, Washington State, and Clatskanie, Mollala, Scappoose, St. Helens, and Portland, Oregon, between 1914-1920, when they came north from California. Both young boys died as a result of a drowning in Washington State, and car accident in Oregon, between 1916-1918.  In January, 1919, Efim died from an accidental shock at Albina Machine Works in Portland, Oregon. Vera married again to a Fred Julian, and had two kids, Valentina and Frank.  Vera Julian then married in 1924 to a Drogutin Nikalich or Nikolich in Multnomah County, Oregon.  I know nothing of this marriage, as to length of time, divorce, or death. I hope all the information I have given to you is accurate and true, because sometimes the memory of people isn't always right. Thank you for being able to provide some possible help to locate any of our Russian or Armenian family where ever they may be. Please feel free to correct any errors, times, dates, or places to make it more possible to find our family. Until I hear from you, hopefully, Rosalie  (ROSEBLAZER@MSN.COM.)   (July 2003)/
